What?

A relaxed, calm and natural inner state is at the heart of a healthy life. This introductory 8 week journey supports the development of this state in a nourishing environment, while also building self-awareness in daily life, deepening understanding of Qi, and learning and practising Tian Yuan, the first method of Yuan Qigong.

How?

Feel the difference in your life as you practise Yuan Qigong consistently over 8 weeks. Yuan Qigong is a tool specifically designed to re-energise you at a very fundamental level, while gently allowing a natural sense of calm and clarity to return.

From this relaxed and deeply calm state—our natural way of being in life—you may begin to experience not only a sense of ease and lightness, but also a genuine sense of joy.

What is Yuan Qigong?

A powerful, yet gentle form of Qigong rooted in ancient wisdom and modern science, Yuan Qigong works with the body, energy, heart and consciousness to restore balance and well-being and ulpift life as a whole. During the 8 Week programme, we will practice simple and gentle exercises that are suitable for all ages and body types.

Who is it for?

For anyone who wants to feel better — even if you’ve never heard of Ren Xue & Yuan Qigong. All ages, abilities, and body types are warmly welcome.

No matter who we are, at the most fundamental level we all face the same challenges in life. Real change is possible — and necessary — for everyone, regardless of how we look, what we’ve been through, or what we’ve achieved.

What’s included?

This supportive holistic programme includes the following:

  • Weekly audios and videos to support your practice
  • WhatsApp group for connection and inspiration between classes or mutual encouragement.

  • $120 + $20* – for those who need a more accessible option.

  • $160 + $20*  – standard contribution.

  • $200 + $20*  – for those who would like to support our work more fully.

*The $20 fee goes towards the maintenance of the website, access to resources, licensed audio recordings, and the time we spend developing these materials.

REN YUAN 2-Part Workshop

Ren Yuan: Two 4 Hour Workshops

Ren Yuan is a beautiful blend of grace and strength, movement and stillness. Through its flowing movements, we learn to harmonise Qi, calm the mind, strengthen the body, and reconnect with the natural qualities of life that already exist within us.

How?

Over two afternoon workshops, that will include some breaks, we will learn and practise all 18 sections of the Ren Yuan form. The focus of these sessions is on learning the movements correctly, as accuracy is important for allowing Qi to flow through the body in the most effective and harmonious way.

Due to time constraints, this workshop will focus primarily on learning and refining the physical form.

While some guidance on the principles of Xin Fa may be offered, there will not be sufficient time to explore the consciousness/True Self aspects of the practice in depth. The emphasis will be on helping participants develop a solid foundation in the movements so they can practise Ren Yuan correctly, confidently, and effectively.

What is Ren Yuan?

Ren Yuan is the third method in the Yuan Qigong system. It consists of 18 graceful and flowing movements designed to activate Qi movement throughout the body, open the channels, and improve the circulation of Qi and blood.

Ren Yuan is an exquisite balance of grace and strength, movement and stillness. Through consistent practice, it helps improve flexibility, balance, coordination, vitality, and overall wellbeing while calming the mind and supporting emotional balance.

Ren Yuan also offers a comprehensive workout for the whole body. The movements gently yet effectively work the muscles, tendons, sinews, bones, joints, and skin, helping to build strength, suppleness, stability, and resilience. By combining stretching, twisting, opening, and coordinated movement, Ren Yuan allows Qi to move at a deeper level throughout the body.

Who is it for?

This workshop is for practitioners that are ready to learn Ren Yuan and those wanting to review their form. 

Please note that although adjustments can be made to accommodate different levels of mobility and physical ability, Ren Yuan is a significantly more physically demanding method than the first Yuan Qigong method, Tian Yuan. If you are experiencing serious physical limitations or health challenges, you may find this method quite challenging. In such cases, beginning with Tian Yuan may be a more suitable starting point before progressing to Ren Yuan. Can I attend only one of the workshops?

Ideally, no—especially if you are learning the form for the first time.

These two workshops are designed as a complete, integrated learning experience, with Part 2 continuing the next set of movements from where Part 1 ends. 

Participating in both parts allows you to learn the full practice in its proper sequence and gain the most benefit from the experience.

Community Practice Class

Weekly Classes during Term 3

In-person | Mondays | 6:30 to 8:00 pm 

Nourish Your Life. These classes will support you in deepening your inner state and nourishing your life at a profound level through Yuan Qigong practices. It is an invitation not only to nourish your Qi, but also to deepen your trust in your inner resources.

What?

These weekly classes will include the practice of Method 1 (Tian Yuan) and Method 2 (Di Yuan), while placing a greater emphasis on two key areas: deepening our practice through guidance, shared experiences, and practical insights; and fostering a genuine sense of connection, belonging, and mutual support within the group.

We will also continue to cultivate the heart, explore  disturbances that affect our inner state and deepen our understanding of life through key Ren Xue theories.

Together, these elements create a supportive, harmonious, and uplifting Qifield that nurtures both our individual and collective growth.

Who is it for?

These classes are designed for those who have completed our introductory course (see Module 1) or are already familiar with the practice of Tian Yuan and Di Yuan and feel ready to have a regular practice.

Through practice, reflection, and exploration of Ren Xue teachings, participants will deepen their practice within a supportive group Qifield while developing a deeper understanding of themselves and others. The classes also provide an opportunity to enjoy practising together, foster a genuine sense of connection and belonging, and explore practical ways to create positive change in everyday life.

Ren Xue is a comprehensive system for the beneficial and uplifting development of life, founded by Yuan Tze. At its core, Ren Xue takes the totality of life into consideration — including human life — and seeks to create positive change to the whole rather than focusing on isolated parts. Its teachings are applied through two practical subsystems: Yuan Qigong and Yuan Ming. Ren Xue supports each person in developing “normality” by first establishing a stable and healthy "Qi" (life force/energy) condition. From this foundation, life can continue to develop through transformation of the heart and mind.

This process begins with the individual: learning for oneself, experiencing from the inside out, and making meaningful changes in one’s own life.
